Huamei English Experimental Middle School

The project undertaken was the refurbishment of the Huamei English Experimental School. The Outdoor Sports Ground Replacement and Canteen Renovation Project will be a 45 days project estimated at the cost of 9.7 million. The project is located at Huamei Park, No. 23, Huamei Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. 

Basic Information of the Construction Unit

The Huamei English Experimental School covers an area of more than 160,000 sq meters. The building of the school covers an area of 100,000 sq meters. The school currently has almost 4000 students. 

Scope of the Project Contract

The original EPDM of the outdoor sports ground will be replaced with a suspended floor. A new suspended floor will be installed in the Little Elephant Plaza, and a new artificial turf will be on the original roof of the second floor. The school canteen will be renovated, and new canteen furniture will be procured. 

Problem Encountered during Project | Problem of Uneven Ground: 

The drawings require removing the original EPDM ground and then directly laying the suspended floor. After the removal, our company found that the original cement ground was uneven, resulting in water on the ground. After communicating with the school, our company adopted the ground slotting way of diverting water into drains. The problem was resolved effectively.
